Wed., March 23rd, 2011-DAILY MENU

Because I am going away & may not have daily access to a computer and don’t want to take my laptop because I want a break from posting, I am substituting menus from November 2010, when I was practicing to start this blog. Format may be slightly different.
Key to Abbreviations:
Dairy Free – DF
Gluten Free – GF
Dandy Blend- Dandy (coffee sub.)
Macadamia Nut Oil- Mac Oil
NSA- No salt added
Olive Oil – OO
PP – Protein Powder
S & P – Salt & Pepper
Sugar Free – SF

6:15 am – PP drink before going to MANNA to volunteer
6:30 am
– Still had time for toast & ½ cup Dandy beverage
8:30 am
– 4 oz. cup of applesauce @ MANNA
10 am
– shopped @ Trader Joe’s before going home and washed off a few grapes to snack on
11:30 am– ½ c. pea soup; carrot & celery with hoomus
2 pm Last square of 90% cacao. Have to find more, since chocolate’s benefits are canceled out by too much sugar in most chocolate, in my opinion. Dandy blend-full cup.
6 pm
– salad; artichoke soup with black beans & carrot grated on top. (I used Trader Joe’s frozen artichoke hearts that I simmered and added spices like cayenne, garlic, & garam marsala & topped it with grated carrots and black beans that I heated.)
