NOTE: Totally forgot that tomorrow is my colonoscopy, so today I am on liquids plus some yukky drink that I have to use before the procedure. Thus, since I am not eating today, I am posting a menu from Nov. 4th. (I started tracking my menus in Oct. in anticipation of starting my blog in Dec., creating the habit of daily posting.)
Both my husband & I shared a dish at a restaurant and we both had stomach problems, so the menu I kept for Nov. 4th reflects “easy eating.â€
9 am – warm water & lemon
10:30 am –tangerine
11:30 am – split pea soup with one slice DF/GF toast
3 pm– Green smoothie- mango, blueberries, dates & lettuce with cold water (This combination was really good tasting!)
6 pm– Baked sweet potato & asparagus (no salad because my stomach needed a rest)
7 pm One square 90% cacao (I must be feeling better!)
8:45 pm– Organic pear
