Note: I posted what I thought I would have as a snack last nite, but changed my mind & had a chai tea and one last GF/DF ginger snap from Pamela’s cookies. They are delicious but pricey!
6 am – Lemon juice & water
6:30 – Green Smoothie from yesterday
7:30 – Scrambled eggs with spinach (I am teaching today, so need a hearty breakfast)
7:45– GF/DF toast with flaxseed oil (using food combining concept, I ate all my protein first and then had my toast. Article coming on food combining.
11 am- leftover salad from last nite with cooked green beans wrapped in a raw wrap from Awesome Foods, a local raw food company.
12 noon –When I went to school, I found out that the kids had lunch from 12-1 pm, so I just had some tea and a couple of my “discuits,” my biscuits that never rose.
2:30 – Snacked on an organic pear.
4 p.m. – Ate a couple more discuits
6 pm– two corn tortillas topped with shredded carrots, shredded lettuce, kidney beans, rice &olives. Still hungry so had some veggie booty, a puffed rice and corn snack food. Then finished off the last discuit. (Cold weather always revs up my appetite.)
