Dear Readers,
This year has been a doozy! Who ever thought we would experience a pandemic?
I found a quote with a photo that seems to sum up, for me, how I feel about humanity at this time. I found it on the Internet and it seems to express in a few words some of what I am feeling about this year.
Hopefully, in our solitude, loneliness, or dark days of COVID-19, we have learned, as the quote notes, to live in the light of our own being, remaining resilient enough to weather this “storm” upon our planet and learning from it.
I wish you all a safe, healthy, and peaceful New Year with the hope that we never experience this kind of devastation again!

P.S. I also want to take this posting to thank all of you who read my entries and especially those who send comments. As I noted when I first started this blog in 2006: “Words are my oxygen” and posting on Menupause gives me a satisfaction I never expected. My son Ira suggested I do this, so my thanks for his advice. We learn from our children, if only we would listen!
