Note: Feeling better than Mon. or Tues., but still taking extra Vitamin C and homeopathic remedies. The trick to not getting really sick is to stay home at the first signs of feeling out of sorts. For those who don’t receive sick day pay, this is difficult. But if you drag yourself to work, you won’t have the output you need to do your job well and staying home one or maybe two days will serve you (and you co-workers) better in the long run.
6:45 a.m. Lemon juice & water
Went to the gym for only 20 minutes on the bike. Still do not have 100% energy, but strong enough to do a little exercise and don’t want to overdo it.
7 :30 a.m. Fresh orange
8 a.m. Cream of Buckwheat Cereal with Almond Milk & Stevia sweetener (No cream in the buckwheat; actually creamy.)
11 a.m. Going on a couple errands, had a small bowl of squash soup I made Sun. Before coming home I had a small container of applesauce I brought with me.
1 p.m. Salad with one quesadilla. (I liked them soÂ much last night, I made another.) Then had 5 small ginger snaps.
6 p.m. – Spinach salad with clementine and honey mustard dressing I made. Also broccoli and tempeh with squash soup as a sauce.
Snack to be posted tomorrow. Feeling better after the acupuncturists cleared my body of what he called “aggressive energy.”
