I found a post it note with Final Salute’s website. Not sure where I first saw the info, but I think Veterans Day is the perfect time to learn more, and if you wish, make a donation. Growing up, women were never in the armed services, but that has changed, so this organization seems needed to address female vets who are homeless.
To provide homeless women Veterans with safe and suitable housing.
Our H.O.M.E and S.A.F.E Programs assist women Veterans and their children who are currently homeless, those that are facing homelessness, and those are under financial strain. Our programs are open to women Veterans and their children, regardless of their location.
The purpose of this event is not only to honor the service and sacrifice women Vets have made to this great nation, but to also support our Sisters-in-Arms who are transitioning from the military of have transitioned to employement and may need an image boost
Ms Veteran America
The Ms. Veteran America competition highlights more than the strength, resilience, sacrifice and courage of our nation’s military women, but also reminds America that these women are also mothers, daughters, wives and sisters. These women are the epitome of Grace, Beauty, Poise and Service
Because she served too
