The trees are bare!
What do I care?
Soon comes Spring
and leaves they’ll bring.
Naked branches still enthrall
as stately trees stand brave & tall…
knowing their limbs
in Spring will blossom.
Just now in Winter
they’re playing possum.
Trees are lovely all year-long;
each season has its own tree song!
