Summertime 2018: June-Aug. 2018

For the past few years I have been combining these three months because life seems to slow down a little in the summer and I like to be a little less compulsive with my postings. Just as the daffodils and tulips have come and gone, and now the azaleas are almost “all,” I think this is a sign that life is fleeting, and we need to make each moment count by being here now and not worrying so much about the future.

Therefore, I am not giving you any posting plans for the summer, just “winging it,” as the expression goes. Instead, here are more photos of azaleas from my walk in our neighborhood a few days ago. Since they are already beginning to lose their blossoms, I think I caught them just in time, in full bloom.

I think these (above) are a different kind of azalea. Any feedback welcome.

I actually saw some azaleas in lovely peach and red, but did not have my camera with me that morning.

Next year I will be more aware of the need to carry my camera or cell phone!
