Spring Snow

Today is the first day of spring and we have snow, so I had to write this jingle to mark the occasion. Photos were taken from our patio; in fact, the bottom one is my patio.

Whaddayaknow, it’s Spring with snow!|
The sky is cloudy and the temperature’s low.

Winter’s over by the calendar’s date.
Mother Nature scoffs, “Not yet, just wait
until I’m ready to say it’s Spring.”
No choice, so let her do her thing.

The flowers will come to sing their tune
and bloom well beyond April, May & June.

  1. very appropriate, especially the five inches in West Chester while I am helping to pack my son’s van,
and his children’s clothes, all on the way to Florida. Thanks for the jingle.
