Monarch Butterflies Still inTrouble

My friend Carolyn is my environmental guardian. She sends me all the petitions to sign. This one about the monarch’s is important, because without butterflies (and bees), we’d have no flowers & plants. ellensue
Got Milkweed? Probably not…

Weed killers like Monsanto’s Roundup herbicide is killing the majestic monarch butterflies by wiping out up to 80% of the milkweed in the Midwest.

Now these precious pollinators are in crisis!

Ask the USDA and EPA to revisit the safety of GMO crops and the herbicides that accompany them before more damage is done.

    I contacted them. Thanks.

I saw the Monarchs flying free in the Longwood Meadow, saw them before they were released
in the Butterfly Habitat at Tyler, I pray that these beautiful butterflies will not be eliminated
because of the pesticides which abound. We doing our part since everything we grow is organic,
we use no pesticides, and milkweed still abounds, and many species of butterflies still abound.
I hope everyone reads the message that we alone are their protectors, and they sign the petition.
