Note: I posted a new article over the week-end called Food Plans & Diets, the first in a series.
8 a.m. – Lemon juice & water
8:30 a.m. 1/2 org. pink grapefruit
9:30 a.m.- Small Protein smoothie with 1/2 banana, Omega 3 Swirl & 2 tsp. Acai Berry(I have added the last two to my vitamin regimen; I have been taking Omega 3s, but not in the flavored form & the litertature on acai berries as an antioxidant plus other benefits looks good)
1/2 hr. in the gym downstairs
11 a.m. – Late breakfast or early lunch: omelette with tomato & sprouts, followed by a slice of GF toast with 1 tsp. regular flax oil, not flavored. Also Dandy Blend with Almond Milk
(I am going on errands and don’t want to succumb to grabbing some junk food.)
1 p.m. organic apple on my way to errands
3:30 p.m. Cup of a Green Smoothie (t, spinach, blueberries, kiwi & one date with purified water)
4:40 p.m. Made a pot of barley-vegetable soup (barley, carrots, leek, collards, peas, mushrooms & leftover sweet potato) and had a taste. Quite good!
6 p.m. Salad with mixed greens, radish, scallion, avocado & feta (real goat cheese)
Also, whole artichoke cooked in a small amount of water until leaves could be pulled off and savored along with the choke.
