Interesting COVID Comparison to Ponder as 2020 Ends

Pauline Rosenberg, an environmentalist nearby who is part of our local senior center, sent me the photos below with comments via email, but she received it from someone else, so I don’t know the source of this particular article, but I did a Google search and found this link:

I find this comparison interesting because in Jane Fonda’s book, What Can I Do?, which I will review soon, she writes about women’s role and climate change. ( I believe COVID-19 is linked with climate issues: Mother Earth is out of balance  because of the way we have been slowly raping the planet and women as nurturers  may be exactly what we need if they take the lead, as Jane Fonda suggests.) Here is a link that talks about this concept:

Coronavirus and Climate Change – C-CHANGE | Harvard …

We don’t have direct evidence that climate change is influencing the spread of COVID-19, but we do know that climate change alters how we relate to other species on Earth and that matters to our health and our risk for infections. … Many of the root causes of climate change also increase the risk of pandemics.
