Holiday Message

My favorite holiday scene is boathouse row in Philadelphia, when all the boathouses are lit up with holiday lights. This is an actual photo, while the one below is a greeting card rendition. Source: http://www.uwishunu.com

Whether you celebrate the Winter Solstice, Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanza or just the holidays in general, this message from Maya Angelou, which I received this week (in a Hallmark card) from my good friends Darlene & Paul, seems to say it all:

We need joy as we need air.

We need love as we need water.

We need each other as we need the earth we share.

We are blessed that there is within our reach enough of all we need.

Happy Holidays!

This is the rendition done as a greeting card that I found on www.greetingcarduniverse.com.
