This is my feedback from the May 2007 special report on osteoporosis. In a recent issue of The Vegetarian Journal (Issue One, 2007), there was a blurb about fruits and vegetables for healthy bones. The article stated that a new study suggests that ingesting fruits and vegetables, especially during adolescence, is important for healthy bones. Similar results were seen in older women, with the amount of fruit being ingested to be more important than the amount of vegetables. (Good news for me, since I especially love fruits as well as vegetables, and have included previous photos of one of each to whet your appetites. ES)
