6 am- lemon juice & water
7:15- asparagus omelet
7:30 – GF/DF toast with Dandy drink

On my way to volunteer at the MANNA kitchen and wanted a hearty breakfast.

10 am – 1/2 c. Starbucks hot chocolate from the MANNA dispenser
11 am- 1 cup green smoothie I made in the a.m. (Lettuces, blueberries, kiwi & one date for sweetener blended with cold water.)
Noon– Rest of kasha casserole from last night, unheated. Pea sprouts and a discuit (a DF/GF biscuit that I made over T’giving and froze. They look like little disks, not biscuits.)
2:30 – More green smoothie plus some dried mango
6:30- Holiday Salad #1:  Spinach and red radishes with hearts of palm on the outside and sprinkled with sprouts. (Red, white & green)
Kitchen Sink Stew: I cleaned out my freezer and threw in something from each bag: lima beans, edamame beans, chick peas, black-eyed peas, aduki beans (these last three I soaked and froze).
Then I went into my veg. bin in the frig and added carrots and leeks, plus garlic and rice from my pantry. Cooked about 1 1/2 hours and added Bragg’s Aminos and other spices. (The actual nrecipe will appear on www.menupause by the week-end.)
Evening Snack– pear and grapes
