A Tale from Tarpiluvka

A Tale from Tarpiluvka is a young adult’s book based on the true story of my great-great-great grandmother and her two young sons (9 & 12) who were sent away to escape 25 years in the Russian Army. I am putting it on a CD-Rom to keep the cost down, since my first run is almost depleted and I would have to charge too much to make less than 100 books. The book has sketches by my husband’s daughter Penny, who is a professional artist, and there is a glossary of terms for the Yiddish and Hebrew words used in the dialogue. The 5 1/2″ X 8 1/2″ book is 130 pages long and will cost $5.00 when the CD is ready. This book can be ordered by emailing me at menupause2006@yahoo.com. Please mention in your email the title of the book you would like to order.

Computer-Ease: A beginner’s Guide to Personal Computing

I wrote Computer-Ease for senior citizens and people whose native tongue is not English. It is super simple and still applicable for PCs unless you have the new Windows 7. The 90-page, 8 1/2″ X 11″ inch, spiral-bound book contains 90 pages with cute graphics of a groundhog. (The name of the press is Groundhog Press because the publisher lived in Punxutawney, PA, where Groundhog Day takes place every year.)

The book costs $18.00 and can be ordered by emailing me at menupause2006@yahoo.com. Please mention in your email the title of the book you would like to order.
