A Time to Give, Part One: Bombas Sox

Last year my best friend asked me what I wanted for my birthday. I told her I wanted wool knee sox and she sent me a pair from a company called Bombas. This year I decided to buy my own wool knee sox from Bombas, because my gray ones were warm and stayed in good shape after washings. Then I saw an ad on TV about Bombas and learned that sox are the most asked for item in shelters. (See below)  Furthermore, when you buy a pair of Bombas’ sox, they donate one pair to shelters. Here is what I found on their website: www.bombas.com:

Items Donated
Socks are the #1 most requested clothing item in homeless shelters. We set out to change that by donating one brand new pair of socks for every pair purchased. Now, because of your support, we’re able to donate a specially-designed donation clothing item for every Bombas clothing item you purchase. So far, you’ve helped generate over 30 million acts of human kindness, and human comfort.
Here are the sox I purchased just last week. They are grey, gold, red, black and white. I like colorful sox!
Sox are a great gift any time of the year, especially when each time you buy a pair, a pair is donated to a shelter. The price for my sox were, I believe, under $20.00.
P.S. My sox came in a cardboard sleeve. No plastic!
