NOTES: If you have been following my new blog, you may have noticed that I did not post yesterday. I decided to take the long holiday week-end and go on a “computer diet,” that is, abstain from logging on anywhere. I decided that I might use Sundays for special articles on food & lifestyle and if you feel “lost” without the posting, you can always go back to a previous day or month for ideas.
Also, New Year’s Eve I ate fish and decided to add that to my diet occasionally. Both my holistic chiropractor (as a result of my hair analysis) and acupuncturist suggested more protein and I feel I already eat enough soy in the form of edamame beans, miso, tempeh, and tofu.  I already eat lots of beans, but limit my dairy to goat’s milk cheese when I eat out and eggs maybe once or twice per week. Since I believe variety is important, I decided to try fish, officially making me a “vegequarian,” a term my older daughter coined for her vegetarian plus fish diet. I hope to post an article on vegetarianism next Sunday.
6 a.m.- Lemon juice & water
6:30 a.m. – Made a green smoothie with arugula, pineapple, blueberries, and a couple of dates and drank about 1/2 glass.
7:30 a.m. – Steel cut oats for oatmeal, one slice GF/DF bread with flax seed oil, Dandy drink with Rice Cream
10:45 a.m. Banana
12:45 p.m.
Nori wrap with tahini, lettuce, red bell pepper, and sprouts. Miso soup  with tofu, leeks, carrots & peas (Miso will be discussed under Special Foods & Supplements in the near future.) Also, rice crackers.
4 p.m.– Glass of green smoothie made with arugula, blueberries, pineapple and a couple of dates to offset the bite if the arugula. The head of arugula I bought @ Whole Foods is huge, so this week my smoothies and salads will probably have arugula.
6 p.m.- Arugula, fennel, & tangerine salad; baked sweet potato; steamed cauliflower, broccoli & green beans.

I’m really impressed along with your writing abilities and also with the format in your blog. Is that this a paid topic or did you customize it yourself? Either way keep up the nice high quality writing, it is uncommon to see a great blog like this one nowadays..
