While everyone else was watching for the stars last night at the Oscars, I was hoping to get a glimpse of my step-daughter Penny near the red carpet. My stepson Jay’s partner, Ignacio, works for Sony Columbia Pictures and is a member of the Academy. This year, Jay* gave up his seat so Penny (a.k.a. Cinderella) could go to the ball….OOOPs! the OSCARS.

Here is a photo taken at Jay & Ignacio’s house right before leaving for the Oscars. (Taking pictures at the Oscars themselves is highly restricted.) Also, a couple of days before the Oscars, Jay took Penny to the Samuel Goldwyn Theater posing in front of OSCAR. I feel almost famous!!!

Here is Penny with Ignacio in her fabulous silver sequined, one-shoulder gown. Does she have star quality?
