I have been receiving some positive comments about my website and am heartened that many of you enjoy different aspects of the postings.

As another year closes, I am happy to say that I still love posting my articles and recipes on my website and hope you will continue to read it.

This is a birthday card from Rhoda, one of my oldest and best friends. She purchased it last summer in Scotland and saved it to give it to me at my party. The sheep is actually made from wool and the needles hold a small knitted scrap of knitted yarn. I love it! Especially her first line on the card, which said, “How could I not have bought this card for you?”
The photo came out pink, even though the card is white. I think this happened because the flash was very bright and discolored the shot, but I wanted to share it anyway. I love when friends make a special effort to please others they care about, don’t you?
