Product Information Corner: Clean & Green
In the last couple of years, I have been gradually switching to cleaning products that I feel are not only safe for the planet, but also for my own personal health. If each of us cares for our immediate environment, starting with our own bodies, then the rippling effect will affect the planet, no? Makes sense to me.
Here are two companies that I have found fits the profile of a green company. The first is METHOD, a company that claims to be 100% environmentally friendly. They sell all kinds of home care products. Check out their website for home cleaning products (floors, dishes, etc.), body care items, laundry helpers, and bay care products. their website is: www.methodhome.com. I purchased the items below at Target.
Here is a sampling of the four products I purchased at Target.
The back of the Multi-Surface natural, all-purpose cleaner says:
“safe for you, safe for the planet. If your mission is to put the hurt on dirt, then this is your new partner against grime. It packs a powerful cleaning punch with natural, biodegradable ingredients and a non-toxic disposition. BAM! take that, dirty. To use: spray, wipe, admire.”
This is my second bottle and so far, I am very pleased with the results, especially because it is safe for my body and the planet.
The second company is called Twist. So far I have purchased their thin and easy to grasp sponge. The white color blends into my bathroom sink, so it is hardly visible. And it is easy to hold because of its thin shape. The other, called a dumpling, has the power of a scrubby without any scratchy fabric.
Gradually, we may all realize that each person can make a difference on the planet by buying and using products that don’t hurt the environment. Earth Day and the fear of global warning has triggered many companies to promote products that are safe for all of us who want Mother Earth to regain her health.

I think everyone should join together to clean up the planet, Earth, including people who throw
trash out of their car windows.
