Chilled Soup

The end of summer brings luscious tomatoes from the garden or Farmers’ Markets. Chilled soups are still great for end of summer meals. Below is a picture of my gazpacho. Recipe will be featured in the August blog. MMmmmm….

Profile: Jill Greenberg: Ephemeral Artist*

Last year I read an article about Jill Greenberg, a Baltimore-based, mixed-media artist who creates art from soap slivers sent or given to her by people from around the US, both friends and strangers alike.

Intrigued, I emailed Jill and finally our schedules meshed. I interviewed her on June 24th and her profile will appear in the next posting. In the meantime, you may want to click onto The Accumulation Project, where some of Jill’s artwork can be seen (www.accumulationproject.org. ).

The project is seeking either a gallery or a non-traditional exhibition space in the NYC area for their culminating show, so if you have any leads please contact Jill directly
at jillgreenberg27@hotmail.com.

Here she is:

P.S. You will have to read the August posting to learn what an ephemeral artist means! Or, if you can’t wait, you can also click onto www.artfaceoff.com to see Jill’s work in all mediums.
