P.I.C. Soup Shortcuts

When my sister-in-law made me her delicious soup last month (recipe is coming), she used Pacific brand vegetable broth (low sodium). It is a good substitute for me when I don’ t have soup stock made. Pacific has many soup stocks, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, so check out their products next time you go shopping at the health food store.

I picked up one package of Taste Adventure Split Pea Soup mix on one of my shopping trips, but not sure where, so I googled them and came up with a whole slew of soups that are suited to my “parameters.”  They are handy to have when I substitute teach or want a bowl of soup quickly. I hope to find more when I go shopping at Whole Foods or Wegman’s. If you see this brand anywhere, please let me know.
